Over 50 years ago, we developed our own neoprene know-how and used it to revolutionize the wetsuit industry through vertical integration. In the process, SHEICO became the largest wetsuits manufacturer in the world.

While steadily growing in the water sports market, SHEICO also ventured into the production of Personal Flotation Devices (life vests), and stretch fabrics. With SHEICO’s long-term dedication to the water sports market, the company has garnered key know-how in raw materials and construction techniques to develop products that are now considered the industry standard. In recent years, SHEICO has further applied the core competency of moisture management in fabrics to develop performance sports fabrics and garments.

SHEICO possesses the advantages of vertical integration, R&D capability, technological leadership, quality control, and design capabilities. These are applied to continuously improve our position versus our competitors and respond to the trends of product development in each watersports market. While already firmly established in Taiwan, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, SHEICO also continues to establish new production sites to fulfill our customers’ logistical needs.

For over half a century, SHEICO Group has grown from its humble roots in Yilan, Taiwan to a multinational corporation. However, we do not focus on what we have achieved, and instead focus on what else we can do to better serve our customers. SHEICO will continue to strengthen its R&D capabilities and invest in expanding production capacity to grow alongside our customers.
